Developmental Achievements

I can walk! (September 4, 1996)
I can walk if mom or dad hold my hands for balance! I can walk really fast if Shelby (my kitty cat) is near. Crawlings not my thing, so maybe I'll just skip that. How may cool kids do you know that crawl anyway?

My first teeth are showing (August 24, 1996)
Two bottom incisors! Mom is about ready to stop breast feeding me!

I sit very well now without any support! (August 5,1996)

I completed my first swimming class
Mom and dad and I spent the last four weeks going to swimming lessons for me on tuesdays and thursday evenings. I learn't lots of neat pool songs and how to float on my back, splash, and kick. I also got dunked underwater a couple of times too.

I sleep through the night! (July 27, 1996)
Yes! after putting mom and dad through an extensive six month sleep deprivation experiment I'm convinced they'd hang on to the end. I'm pretty tired myself so I'll cut them some slack (at least for now). Good job mom and dad!

I can stick almost an entire pacifier in my mouth, and magically all but the nipple POPS out! Sometimes it's upside down but who cares about the details!

Favorite Food of the Month

September, 1996
Peas and bannanas are the regular food favorites, but cinamin Graham crackers are the best!

August, 1996
Peach Cobbler came in a close second to Vanilla custard Pudding. Zwieback teething toast deserves an honorable mention, but mom has made them off limits until I can chew properly (big pieces break off and could choke me). Any way, at she lets me have Gerber Toddler Biter Biscuits which I can sure make a mess with.
